We take this opportunity to welcome you to Sharpley and to acquaint you with your Civic Association. Your Association was formed in 1966 to help make Sharpley a better place to live and to maintain property values. The Sharpley Civic Association, one of approximately 150 members of the Council of Civic Organizations of Brandywine Hundred, serves as your voice in local government, particularly in regard to matters of zoning and civic improvements.
The Association is responsible for the programs that help maintain our neighborhood’s appearance and livability, including the administration of deed restrictions, snow removal, street tree care, parkland maintenance, speed limits, and law and order, all designed to protect our investments as home owners and to keep Sharpley a safe and attractive place to live and raise our families.
